Derby Day!

From the race day dress code to the perfect mint julep recipe, here's how to host a memorable Derby party.

  1. DRESS CODE: Guests will follow the host's lead on what to wear to a Derby day party, so as the host, you have permission to go all-out: major hat, full suit, dramatic floral dress, whatever appeals to you.
  2. DRINKS: No Derby party is complete without a mint julep: after all, they became the official drink of the Kentucky Derby in 1983. We wanted to try something new, so this year we are making the Bless your heart drink. It's like the mint julep with a twist. See below to try out this new drink recipe!
  3. SNACKS: Stick to the southern classics like smoked turkey and brie sandwiches or bacon Bourbon caramel popcorn!
